With a view to developing our future ultra-light trekking backpack, Forclaz needs you.
Required profile :
We are looking for 6 men and 6 women with an "Ultra-light" / "Minimalist" profile in trekking.
Program :
In order to properly test this new backpack we suggest you come hiking for 2 days in the Mont Blanc valley (Haute Savoie).
The test will consist of trying 3 different backpacks (loaded at 9/10kg) while hiking in the mountains.
We will sleep one night at the Miage refuge (Saint Gervais Mont Blanc)
You have the possibility to choose between two test sessions, the program of which is as follows:
Session 1
Meet Monday at 2 p.m. in Saint Gervais, departure for 4 hours of hiking (approximately 1000m of elevation gain), night and meal at the Miage refuge. The next day we will leave for a 3-hour hike to return to the parking lot in Saint Gervais and debrief the test. You will be "released" at 1 p.m. on Tuesday
Session 2
Meet on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Saint Gervais, departure for 4 hours of hiking (approximately 1000m of elevation gain), night and meal at the Miage refuge. The next day we will leave for a 3-hour hike to return to the Saint Gervais car park and debrief the test. You will be "released" at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

The night in the shelter, food and supervision by an AMM are covered by Decathlon.
Transportation from your home to the test appointment location will be at your expense.

The meeting will be in Saint Gervais les Bains (74), the exact meeting point will be communicated to you later.
We will only test the backpacks (which we will provide you), remember to bring your usual hiking equipment (shoe, bottle of water, clothing adapted to the weather, socks, pole if you use them), as well as a bag sleeping bag (or a sack sheet) for the shelter.
Supervision: You will be accompanied by a professional guide from the region, as well as the design team.
