Our sport is sometimes practiced in bad weather (wind, rain, cool to cold temperatures down to 0° in feeling).
The windsurfer needs to take breaks on the beach either to recover, hydrate, eat or to change equipment without removing their thermal protection.
It happens that the jacket is also worn during practice, as has been noted in particular in the Nordic countries.
