On-site product test

Unusual night in Haute-Savoie!

CompletedFrom Thursday 9 to Thursday 1/20/2025146 Participants

Come and test our future traveling camping products!

We develop family roof tent, car tarp, child roof tent bed/hammock, car-connecting shelter, trunk kitchen...

The time of year is not ideal for outdoor testing in Haute-Savoie but we have no choice regarding our design schedule and our prototypes.

The goal for us is to collect feedback from users outside of Decathlon in order to improve our products before their release in 2026.

We plan to set up a marquee at a campsite, under which we can put a car, and an additional electric heater so that the temperature is not too low in order to test the products properly.

This is the most coherent solution to be as close as possible to the conditions of use of the products and to be subject to weather conditions (which can be complicated even in the south of France at this time of year).

We are mainly looking for families with 1 or 2 children.

Hence the heating in particular so that it is comfortable with your little ones. Even if telling them that they will sleep in a cabin... on a car... in a marquee... should be enough to put stars in their eyes to brave all the conditions!

As the proposed date is not during school holidays, you will see different options in the application questionnaire.

We can only accommodate 2 families per day so you will have a better chance of being selected if you put availability during the week.

There was a problem with the questionnaire: if you are available on several proposed dates, specify them in the "other" box instead of checking just one.

The test will take place in the Arve Valley.

The principle would be at least to come at the end of the day, test certain products, cook, eat, sleep in a roof tent (under the marquee), have breakfast and debrief with the design team/fill out a questionnaire.

Dinner and breakfast will be provided by Quechua to thank you for your participation.

You will just need to bring warm clothes and your own sleeping bag.

Thank you in advance for your motivation!
