Hello everyone !

At Decathlon, we want to develop products with the lowest environmental impact. We are already working on eco-design using recycled materials, but it's time to go further.
For this, we want to increase the sustainability of our future bodybuilding and fitness gloves. And we need your help!
Participate actively in the project by allowing us:

  • To identify the defects of our products: so that we can work on them
  • To understand your feelings, what you expect from us on this subject
  • To design with you the sustainable products of tomorrow

LONG-TERM TEST - Bodybuilding and Fitness Gloves

Hello athletes!

At Decathlon, we are looking to improve the durability of our bodybuilding and fitness gloves. For this, we need your help in a long-term test.

>> Your goal : Use your pair of gloves as often as possible and record the various deteriorations you observe as you use the pair. Every week, you will need to complete an online questionnaire to assess its condition, directly accessible via your smartphone.

>> Our goal : Identify, quantify, and understand the various deteriorations observed by you in order to correlate them with laboratory tests... all to determine a durability index for our products and, most importantly, to enlighten us on design choices: types of materials, seams, colors, accessories..

Profile sought:

  • Number of candidates sought: 220
  • Gender: Men & Women
  • Available sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL (depends on the glove model)
  • Who regularly practice bodybuilding and/or fitness (at least once a week). We will assign you a pair of gloves adapted to your sports practice. Therefore, you will test products more dedicated to either bodybuilding practice (heavy lifting, pull-ups...) or fitness (cardio, muscle strengthening, toning...) depending on your practice habits.

Practical information: The test will take place between the month of March and the month of August 2024 If you apply, you commit to being available on these dates to wear the product as many times as possible during your sports sessions at home and to complete the questionnaires every week. Throughout the entire test period you will need to complete at least one 1-hour sports session per week with the pair.

Remuneration conditions: This test is not remunerated.
Recruitment: Recruitment will take place in the following month, depending on the products and sizes received :)

NB: The product being tested is not the one shown in the photo, the colors will also be different.
