Communicate while riding in a mountain bike group , have you ever tried?

During an outing, multiple situations may require an exchange with your partner(s).

Unfortunately, the weather (wind, rain), the environment (forest, vegetation), the speed and the distance between cyclists can make this communication very difficult.

From identifying needs to field testing, the ROCKRIDER team offers to co-create with you a system to solve the problem.

Why we need you:

As a first step, we invite you to listen and discuss (1) the interest, and (2) the essential needs for the use of such a device.

How to contribute:

To contribute, it's very simple ...

Immerse yourself in your own mountain biking use (hiking, cross country, all mountain, ...), and freely post your ideas answering the following 2 questions:

(1) In what situations could a communication device with your partners be useful to you? Whether it is to manage an emergency situation or more simply to enhance your outing from discussions with friends, all the reasons for use are interesting to discuss

(2) In order to be able to provide a good product response in the imagined situations, are there essential needs to be considered in the design? (for example: a minimum number of participants, a minimum radio signal range, ...)

You can also like (give weight) to the ideas of other members of the community. Bounce back on an idea, enrich it ... The ROCKRIDER team will also participate in the discussions. For dynamic participation, we recommend that you activate the NOTIFICATION function (under your profile).
