For the launch of an upcoming range of daily walking shoes and as part of the development of our future shoes, Decathlon is looking for daily walkers, men only, in size 43, to take part in a fitting test! The objective of this test will not be to validate a model under development, but to validate a form. A last is the starting point for the design of a shoe. This is an average foot shape which will determine the size, proportions and style of the shoe. Come and discover this little-known step in the design of a shoe!
- The fitting test, or definition of the ideal fit (adequacy between the shape of the foot and the shape of the shoe), is a semi-static then dynamic test, aimed at getting closer to the conditions of practice of urban or daily walking. . Different parameters will be measured during this test, such as ease of donning, immediate comfort, or size. You will be asked to test several models, and answer a questionnaire, supervised by a member of the design team.
Objective: Define the right fit for the new Decathlon urban walking shoes!

- Number of candidates sought: 30 men (size 43)
- Profile: all people who practice walking as part of their daily life (daily travel, mobile professional activity, etc.)

- Date: Monday April 4, Wednesday April 6 or Thursday April 7
- Duration: the test will last 1 hour, several time slots will be offered throughout the day.

Program and course of the test:
- 3D scan of your feet
- Test of two different models of shoes in semi-static (in-store fitting type) then in dynamic (a few minutes of walking at your own pace)
- Response to two questionnaires to collect your feelings and comments on the models tested
Remuneration conditions:
The test is remunerated on the basis of a fixed price of 1 hour.
