Why we need you:
Do you know a pattern to transform your fleece into a glasses case?
Do you know how to DIY a fishing rod into a Nordic walking pole?
Do you know how to sew a banana from a holey inflatable mattress?
We need you to create a freely accessible catalog for customers and stores with end-of-life sports products! imagine: Find a tutorial to transform your yoga mat into a pool slide! Fun and good for the planet!
The community of sports co-creators that we are has a magnificent inventive challenge to take on!
We can't wait to present to you the ideas we have already had!
How to contribute:
Participate in the upcycling competition by sending a drawing, a pattern, a plan, a photo of a prototype and react to the ideas of other participants to bring out the best ideas that we will prototype together in our workshops with their creators!
Authorized materials and objects: Recycled material only! e.g. helmet, tire; inner tube, wheel, inflatable mattress, tennis ball, balloons, paddle, kayak, boards, fishing rod, textile, shoe, backpack etc...
The assembly materials may be new: screws, nails, sewing materials, etc.
Conditions on the upcycled products offered:
They must be products that can be sold in Decathlon stores: therefore sports and related products!
