Test the special “wide feet” jogging shoe
Are you having difficulty finding a running shoe that fits your body type? Do you feel too tight in your shoes? Sometimes you take a size larger, but the shoe is too big and makes your practice unpleasant? Then this project is for you!
Help us design a shoe suitable for overweight people with a so-called “wide” foot shape. This model must meet:
- discomfort issues linked to running shoes that are too narrow,
- harmful impacts on the body of practicing jogging without a suitable shoe (cushioning, support, stability)
We are looking for :
- 25 men and 25 women practicing jogging (running for pleasure, well-being, without performance objectives).
- Size 39 (women) and 43 (men).
- No particular physical conditions apart from a BMI greater than 25. People with a BMI <25 and a wide foot shape are also welcome.
Objective of the test:
- Evaluate whether the product is suitable for jogging for people with a BMI>25 and a wide foot shape.
- Observe potential damage following repeated use.
Test protocol:
You will simply be asked:
- to use the shoes during your usual Jogging practices (and your daily trips), ideally as often as possible, to reach the estimated lifespan as quickly as possible,
- to regularly respond to a short monitoring questionnaire, to provide information regarding your uses.
- The test will be carried out at home for approximately 5 months.
- If you are selected for testing, we will send the product to be tested directly to your home.
