Hello,
Decathlon needs your help to validate its new range of gas-free re-waterproofing products. They are much less impactful than an aerosol but not always as easy to use.
We are looking for 50 to 60 people to choose between 2 versions.
Profile sought:
Women or men who are used to hiking in the rain and need to re-waterproof their shoes (made of synthetic or nubuck leather) and/or their waterproof jacket (no poncho or raincoat). The products to be waterproofed must have been waterproof at the time of purchase but have lost some of their water repellency (ability to shed water on the material without absorbing it).
If you would like to give your opinion and share your experience with this type of products, feel free to apply.
Practical information (date, location...):
The test will take place outdoors during the month of May and will end on June 16, 2024.
Products to be tested:
You will need to test 2 different re-waterproofing sprays.
The first spray is propelled by pressing a trigger (currently in development), and the second spray is propelled by pressing a plunger button (already sold in stores).
Both sprays also have different liquid re-waterproofing formulas.
Program:
You will need to test the ease of use and effectiveness of the sprays.
You will spray one spray on one shoe and the other spray on the second shoe following the instructions on the product labels.
In the case of a jacket, you will need to spray one half of the jacket with one spray and the other half with the second spray.
After using the sprays and at least 3 outings in rainy weather, we will ask you to answer a questionnaire.
Product Delivery:
Once your application is approved and your contract is signed, we will send you the 2 sprays by mail.
Thank you in advance for your involvement.
The maintenance product team!
