Bodies evolve, and our sports equipment must adapt to you. That’s why we are launching a major scanning campaign to update our morphological database on a European scale. And for that, we need you!

By participating in this project, you will concretely help our design engineers to:

Better size our future products: Whether it’s the cut of a textile, the ergonomics of a backpack, or the frame of a bike, your data allows us to create products that suit the greatest number of people.
Improve comfort for everyone: By updating our sizing to make it more consistent and better suited to the diversity of European body shapes.
Make your life easier: Ultimately, this project will allow us to provide you with more reliable size recommendations, thus reducing selection errors.

It's time to take action!

To update our European morphological database and design ever more suitable equipment, we invite you to participate in our 3D body scanning sessions.

To thank you for your time and valuable contribution, you will receive a €15 Decathlon gift card at the end of the session (only if you do not work at Decathlon)! As a bonus, volunteers who agree to extend the experience with a precise foot scan will receive a free pair of socks.

Desired profiles: people aged 18 and over
Session duration: ~20 minutes
Location: B'twin Village then Decathlon Campus

How will the test/study be conducted?

Step 1 - Welcome and preparation: Our team will warmly welcome you and explain the process. You will then be invited to a private area to change into your underwear, which will be provided at the time of the test (this is essential so that the fitting room can take your exact measurements).

Step 2 - 3D Scan: You will enter our technological cabin for a complete and rapid scan of your entire body, in 4 different positions.

Step 3 - Manual measurements: In addition to the 3D scan, we will take your measurements: height, weight, head circumference, underbust circumference and arm circumference.

Step 4 - End of session: You get dressed and leave with your gift card!

Step 5 (bonus) - Foot scan: If you wish, you can give us a few extra minutes to perform a scan of your feet.

Privacy and security The data collected during this session (3D scan, measurements) will be processed in a completely anonymous and confidential manner, with the strictest respect for your privacy. It will be used solely for engineering and design purposes .
