We are looking for 70 people who are used to consuming isotonic drinks during their long-term efforts.
Required profile:
Man or woman mainly practicing road cycling, mountain biking, running or trail running, regular consumers of isotonic drinks and enjoying the watermelon taste . If you would like to give your opinion and share your experience on this type of sports nutrition products, do not hesitate to apply.
Practical information (date, location, etc.):
The test will take place at home between April 29 and May 15, 2022.
Product tested:
You will have to test 2 different samples of watermelon flavored isotonic drinks.
Protocol:
You will need to complete a 2-hour running or trail session or a minimum 3-hour bike ride in order to test the samples. In order to make your isotonic drink, you will need to add exactly 500 ml of water into a bottle or other container, then you will need to empty a single sample of isotonic powder into this same container and finally shake it for a few moments. This drink should be drunk from 15 minutes of effort until the end of your session, in small sips . Following this, you will have to answer the online satisfaction questionnaire on the platform https://cocreation.decathlon.fr . During a second session of the same type (carry out exactly the same session as the first), prepare your isotonic drink in the same way as the first (pour 500 ml of water into a bottle, pour the entire sample into it and shake the bottle for a few moments), using the second sample . Once your effort is complete, you will have to answer the online satisfaction questionnaire again.
It is strongly recommended to accompany your effort with other nutritional products in order to provide you with the carbohydrate intake and hydration necessary for your body.
A balance questionnaire will be completed once the 2 samples have been consumed.
