Hello to all stand up paddle enthusiasts!
We need your help to better understand the regulations around stand up paddle navigation worldwide. In France, we know that it is divisions 240 and 245 that govern navigation. They require the wearing of buoyancy aids. Beyond 300 meters and up to 2 nautical miles from a shelter, they also require a SUP with multiple chambers (at least 2), the carrying of a sound and light signaling device, as well as a towing system (the leash is sufficient). Beyond 2 nautical miles, stand up paddle navigation is prohibited.
We would like to know the variations of these regulations abroad, the countries concerned, and the specificities of these regulations.
Your participation is crucial! Thanks to you, we will be able to create equipment that complies with the regulations of each country and ensure a safe and enjoyable practice of stand up paddle worldwide.
We are counting on you to help us. Together, let's advance our favorite sport!
Sportingly,
The Tribord Paddle Sport Team
