đą Important Reminder:This announcement corresponds to our second recruitment session. If you have already filled out the questionnaire during the first interaction a few weeks ago, your application is well registered: you do not need to respond to this one!
This is THE big novelty of the year for our Quechua design team! In order to develop products that are ever more durable, we are launching our very first major Hiking Durability Test.
The objective? To put our shoes to the test in their real usage conditions and cover nearly 800 kilometers in record time. To succeed in this challenge, we are organizing 6 weeks of intensive hiking in a "base camp" in Savoie and Haute-Savoie, supervised by passionate Mountain Guides (AMM).
The dates: from July 27 to September 6, 2026. All expenses paid test! Only the means of transport to get to the site is to be covered!

âïž The Framework
To allow as many people as possible to participate in this test, we are organizing 6 sessions of one week, with new testers in each session. The hikers change, but the products remain! Therefore, you must be comfortable using products that have already been worn (rest assured, they will be meticulously cleaned between each week of testing).
You will be accommodated in a comfortable lodge (our base camp) and will set off each day to explore new trails in the area. Your role: Walk, enjoy the scenery, and become a true co-creator by putting our products to the test and giving us regular feedback throughout your stay. âș
đ€ Desired Profile
- You are a man and wear size 43 (note, this shoe size is strict!).
- You are a passionate and very regular hiker.
- You have excellent physical condition: you must ensure 7 consecutive days of hiking (mandatory).
- You are comfortable with a daily rhythm of around twenty kilometers with over 1300 m of positive elevation gain while carrying a bag of 8 to 10 kg, or approximately 150 kilometers and 9000 meters of cumulative elevation gain for the week.

The Program
The test takes place over 6 independent weeks. You can apply for your available dates, but if you are selected, it will be only for one week. You must be present on Monday morning to start the test, and you can leave on Sunday afternoon/evening.
The locations of the base camps (Savoie and Haute-Savoie):
- The first 3 weeks: Crest-Voland, halfway between the Aravis and the Beaufortain massif.
- The last 3 weeks: Saint-Gervais, at the foot of the Mont-Blanc massif.
Accommodation and Meals: In a lodge, always in the same place to recover well in the evening! You will be housed and fed all week on a full board basis (meals are provided). On-site transport: Daily shuttles will take you from the lodge to the hiking departures. Supervision: AMMs will be present to ensure your safety, guide the group, and share their knowledge about the environment.
đ Terms
- All expenses related to accommodation, local transportation, and meals are fully covered during your testing week.
- Only the transport costs to get to the base camp (the meeting point) and to leave remain your responsibility.
- You must hike each day with the pair of test hiking shoes as well as other products, such as clothing, a backpack, or poles. These other products will be specified to you later.
- Compensation: This test is based on volunteering and is not paid.
