Participate in the design of our mountain hiking products! 🌄

If you are a regular user of Décathlon Co-Création, you will have noticed that we try to involve our users as much as possible when designing our products.


We regularly ask you for test our prototypes and future ranges. As you know, your feedback is crucial in our design process .


Here you will find a large part of the tests organized around the Mountain Hiking division (or Mountain Hiking for those in the know, and " MH " for purists) of Quechua 🌄.


Most often, this takes the form of tests directly at home : you use the product independently and regularly answer a short questionnaire.


Sometimes these can be one-off events that we organize by the hour or by the day.


Finally, this can even take the form of real trips that we organize , and to which we invite you to test our products in real conditions in the company of the entire design team . The opportunity to work on the products while living wonderful human adventures .


If you really enjoy mountain hiking, are capable of constructive reasoning, and whether or not you like our products, we strongly encourage you to sign up for this project.

Hello Co-Creators!


Here we go again: after previous years in Diois, Verdon, and the Calanques, we are looking for passionate testers to accompany us in Buis les Baronnies, and test our mountain shoes currently in development.

Come contribute your stone (foot) to the construction of our products while having a great time!

This year, the shoe testing will take place from April 15 to 18, 2025 in the Vercors/Diois (26), so !

This year offers a unique experience as we will all stay together for 4 days in a lodge.


What we are looking for:

  • 12 male testers, size 43.
  • 12 female testers, size 39.

We are looking for testers of any age who love hiking and are not afraid of elevation gain. For this test, we seek experienced hikers who hike regularly.

Of course, we will be in a group, so living in community for a week should not be an issue for you (Similarly, chatting with people you do not know should not pose a problem 😉).


The idea : We all meet at the lodge on Tuesday, April 15 in the afternoon. You will need to arrive by your own means, but everything else for the week, until Friday, April 18 at noon, will be fully covered by Decathlon. You come and only focus on testing shoes ;).

I will get back to you about the location as soon as it is officially confirmed.

I will try to organize shuttles to pick up those who plan to come by train from the station.


On the agenda : Hikes in the incredible landscapes of the Vercors with the design teams and the mountain guides team.

  • Tuesday arrival
  • Wednesday & Thursday hikes
  • Friday product debriefs.

At each hike, two new pairs of shoes to test!

This kind of test is always an extraordinary moment shared between our users and the design teams. We really can’t wait to be there and meet you!
